Large General Labels

Large General Labels were originally developed in response to a school looking for a larger label for identifying books. Their 90mm × 20mm size proved useful for much more than books, providing clear, highly visible identification across a wide range of school, home, sport and care applications. They can be used on suitable smooth surfaces such as lunch boxes, water bottles, sports equipment, storage containers and other belongings where a larger label makes identification easier. Their flexible construction has a degree of give, allowing the label to conform closely to the shape of many suitable items and curved surfaces. In retirement homes and care facilities, their size and durability also make them particularly useful for identifying suitable mobility equipment such as walkers and wheelchairs, helping staff recognise belongings and return them to the correct resident. Large General Labels use the same durable label construction, adhesive and printing system as our Stationery Labels. They provide excellent resistance to water, temperature and chemicals, making them particularly suitable for demanding everyday applications, including suitable items that are regularly washed or cleaned in a dishwasher. The strong adhesive helps the label maintain close contact with the surface on belongings that are frequently handled, washed or exposed to demanding everyday conditions. Combined with the larger format and durable print, this provides clear identification where a smaller or less durable label may not be sufficient. Whether used at school, sport, home or in a care environment, clearly labelled belongings are easier to identify and return when they are misplaced or mixed up.
